I produce my lino prints using the historic presses at Gainsborough's House workshop in Sudbury, Suffolk as well
more detailed engravings in my garden studio at home.
I studied Graphic Design at Norwich School of Art 1983-1986, and have attended a variety of courses and evening classes at Gainsborough House.
I have exhibited my work in various exhibitions in recent years. This includes, The Pond Gallery (Snape Maltings), The Edmund Gallery and The Apex (Bury St. Edmunds), St Peter's (Sudbury) and The New Sentinel gallery (Wivenhoe).
I was also commissioned to illustrate a poetry book for The Happy Dragon's Press.
In 2018 I exhibited at The Norwich Print Fair
I am part of 4PRINTmakers, a group of artists who met in the print workshop at Gainsborough's house. We have exhibited together at The Quay gallery in Snape, Suffolk, The Garage gallery in Aldeburgh, and The Boat House gallery in Flatford.
I am inspired by the early pioneers of lino-printing in England, as well as later artists, such as Eric Ravilious. My work reflects these influences, as well as my graphic design background, and the subject matter is often inspired by the natural world around me.
